Milan Dragway and some of it's top racers have teamed up to present the 2013 edition of Fan Day!  It is scheduled to take place on Saturday May 18^th with the spectator gates opening at 12:00pm.  This fun-filled Fan Day will please all ages with the sights, sounds and smell of drag racing!  Fans will watch some edge of the seat racing starting with Liberty's Gears Junior Dragsters.  These are half-scale versions of real Dragsters. The 8 to 17 year old kids will blow you away going as fast as 85 mph and as quick as 7.90 seconds in an eighth-mile.

Starting at 2:00pm is qualifying for the Diamond Pistons Saturday Shootout. This series will feature Holley Outlaw Limited Street, Team Z Motorsports X275, Ultimate Convertors/O'Hara Automotive and Performance Ultra Street, Amsoil Open Comp and Livernois Wild Street.  This is exceptionally competitive racing and some of the most popular racing in the Mid-West. Watch as some of our finest Head's Up classes duke it out for the win. Some of Detroit's most popular Head's Up racers participate in this monthly event.

Free Fan Day passes will be distributed at the Detroit Autorama Milan Dragway booth March 8, 9 and 10^th.  Tickets will also be available online for Fans to print at home. Or stop by the office and grab a handful to pass out at school, work or your business! Invite your friends who have never been, your teacher and her students who have never seen you compete before or your coworkers who need to feel what drag racing is all about!

The passes will allow free entrance and free parking on the spectator side.  Fans can cross over through the walking path to the pit area for only $10 each.
