So this is a different kind of bracket results story. It is the kind I'm doing off memory of the races because I totally forgot my results sheets in the tower! But I do have the names!
Jordan Wilhelm came out and swept two classes collecting the win in both Pro and Sportsman. In Pro, he took out Chuck Lewis who was a little too eager and went -.008 red giving Wilhelm the automatic win. Johnnie Cook in Sportsman was the other runner up to succumb to Jordan Wilhelm's "just-can't-lose" day.
Joe Novak Jr. took out Ron Raymond in the Super Pro Motorcycle final where Raymond broke out (I think) after taking out Joe Novak Sr. in the semi-final. In Super Pro Motorcycle, getting past just one Novak isn't enough. Also, one last Happy Birthday to Ron Raymond! A runner up on your birthday and a win against Joe Sr. isn't too bad!
Tim Louderback who hadn't raced with us in many years came out in Super Pro and took the win in the final over Justin Hardy who, like Chuck Lewis, reacted a little too quickly on the tree and was -.007(ish) red.
Overall, it was a day full of tough competition, as should be expected on any bracket day at Milan Dragway. The pleasant surprise was the amount of new or haven't been seen any time lately faces we saw. It looks like the Milan Dragway regulars should expect some new, and as they proved yesterday very tough, competition this season!
